Car enthusiasts and buyers all over the Philippines flocked to the World Trade Center as the Manila International Auto Show celebrated its 10th year, which surpassed the previous events in terms of scale, popularity and versatility.

The number of exhibitors and visitors alike reached an all-time high as Rolls-Royce Motor Cars finally released its most powerful creation yet: The Wraith. Other top manufacturers like Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha were also present in the event to showcase their motorcycle masterpieces. In case you weren’t able to go to the 2014 MIAS last April 3-6, here’s a quick recap.

Needless to say, MIAS 2014 was a HUGE event. Russ Swift, a Brit known for precision driving, was there to perform his Guinness Record-breaking stunts on the new Subaru BRZ Prologue, and even took local hosts Kris Aquino, Carmina Villaroel, and Shaina Magdayao on a wild ride to please the crowd. But that’s only the one of the show’s main attractions.

As the biggest motor show in the Philippines, MIAS took it upon itself to showcase both well-established and new brands from all over the world, highlight the greatly improved performances and fuel economy of the new models, and promote the local automotive manufacturing industries.

German-made Volkswagen in particular featured their entire lineup, which included a new addition in their iconic beetle collection while Subaru showcased the WRX STI. KIA from Korea, on the other hand, debuted the much-awaited 2015 Kia Soul with the new diesel engine. The Indian brand Tata also made its debut on the show, another good alternative to the plethora of Chinese-branded cars that were also at the same event. Among those Chinese brands were BYD, which featured their remote-controlled car.

Of course, it’s not only about the newer models, no? Genuine car enthusiasts will always appreciate the presence and make of old retro cars. Therefore, many vintage cars (cue Grease’s ‘Greased Lightning’ music and choreography) were also lined up at the car show area for the car show competition, including bugs, chevy trucks, and classic mustangs. Ah, those were the days of low cars, skinny steering wheels and manual sticks.

So now we have a wide selection of both new AND old cars, all of which have impressed car enthusiasts with their own excellent and unique qualities. But no matter how gorgeous the car is or how smooth it runs, what’s an excellent car without excellent car seats?

URATEX Mobile Sleep Solution

Over at the exhibit area for accessories, Uratex Industrial and Institutional were also present at the MIAS to exhibit their Uratex Mobile Sleep Solutions. Beyond the appearance, the performance, and the fuel economy of a vehicle, comfort is extremely important when it comes to choosing the right vehicle. After all, who would ride in the flashiest car if you can’t stand to sit through a ride that lasts more than thirty minutes, right?

Well say no more to uncomfortable journeys. In addition to car seats, seat covers, and motorcycle saddles, URATEX Philippines also featured their multi-color and multi-shape-designed upholstery for bus seats. They also had a mobile bedroom showroom bus, which Ms. Aquino also visited to rest a while from all the excitement outside.
